Kadhi or karhi is a Rajasthani dish consisting of fritters (known as pakoras), dahi (yogurt) and spices. It’s a simple dish, easy to make and delicious! You can use buttermilk as a replacement to yogurt if desired. Usually, yogurt that sour is preferred for this dish. It is usually served with cooked rice or roti.

Matar Pulao

Matar Pulao is a tasty rice and green peas pilaf. Both subtle and savory, it can be used as a main item or as side dish to a curry. Very easy and quick to make, this staple never disappoints! I prefer to use more starchy, mature english peas vs. sweet peas. Try it both ways and see what you like better!
