250 grm. 250 Potatoes peeled and sliced
3 tbsp. 3 Vegetable Oil
1 tsp 1 Cumin seeds (Zeera)
3 3 Red Chili-whole dried OR
0.5 tsp. 0.5 Red Chili-crushed
0.5 tsp. 0.5 Salt (adjust to taste
0.125 tsp 0.125 Turmeric (Haldi)-powder
Directions
- Heat the oil and add Cumin Seeds (Zeera) and red chili and sauté till they start to turn brown.
- Add the potato and rest of the spices along with a little water.
- Cover and cook on low heat. for 10 to15 minutes till the potatoes are soft leaving little gravy.
- Serve with chapati or paratha.
