Ingredients

  • 250 grm. Potatoes peeled and sliced

  • 3 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (Zeera)

  • 3 Red Chili-whole dried OR

  • 0.5 tsp. Red Chili-crushed

  • 0.5 tsp. Salt (adjust to taste

  • 0.125 tsp Turmeric (Haldi)-powder

Directions

  • Heat the oil and add Cumin Seeds (Zeera) and red chili and sauté till they start to turn brown.
  • Add the potato and rest of the spices along with a little water.
  • Cover and cook on low heat. for 10 to15 minutes till the potatoes are soft leaving little gravy.
  • Serve with chapati or paratha.
