1 kg. 1 Carrots
1 cup 1 Sugar
4 4 Green Cardamom (Chhoti Ilaichi)-seeds
1/2 cup 1/2 Ghee
1/2 cup 1/2 Khoya (Ricotta cheese)
1 tbs. 1 Kewra Essence
handful Dry Fruits (pistachio, almond, raisins)
5 tbsp. 5 Milk-powder
Directions
- Grate the carrots and put them in a pot on low heat along with the ilaichi seeds.
- When they become soft and water dries up,
- Add sugar and again leave it on low heat for the water to dry.
- Add ghee, khoya, dry fruits and milk and dry the water on high heat.
- When done add kewra before removing from heat.
- Serve hot or cold.
