Try it with sliced onion & mint chutney!Ingredients1.25 cup 1.25 Rice-presoaked1.25 cup 1.25 Daal Moong1/4 cup 1/4 Vegetable Oil/Ghee1 tsp. 1 Salt (adjust to taste)1 1 Black Cardamom (Bari Ilaichi)6 cloves 6 (Laung))8 8 Black Pepper-whole(Kali Mirch)1 1 inch Stick of Cinnamon (Dalchini)1/2 tsp. 1/2 Cumin Seeds (Zeera)1 tsp. 1 Garlic (Lehsan) paste1 tsp 1 ginger (Adrak)-paste1 1 Onion (medium sized)-slicedDirectionsSauté the onion slices in oil till light brown.Add ½ cup of water and spices and mix well.Add the presoaked rice and daal to the pot Add water so much so that it reaches about 1½ cm.
