Ingredients

  • 1 kg Mutton

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp Chili (Lal Mirch)-powder

  • 4 tbs. Coriander (Dhaniya)-powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Turmeric (Haldi) powder

  • 1 cup Onion-chopped

  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala

  • 1 tsp. ginger (Adrak) paste

  • 1 tsp Garlic (Lehsan)-paste

  • 2 Tomato (large size)-pealed and finely chopped

Directions

  • Fry the onion on low flame then remove from the oil and spread out on a plate to dry/crispy.
  • In the hot oil, add all the spices with a few tbsp. of water, mix well and cook over medium heat.
  • Add the meat and stir until the water has dried.
  • Add 2 cups of water, cover and leave on low heat to tenderize and the water is reduced to half..
  • Crush the fried onion and add to the meat. along with tomato.
  • Cook it till the meat softens and the desired consistency of curry is achieved.
    Serve with Naan or chapati.
