1/2 kg. 1/2 Beef-filet
1 tbs. 1 Roasted Chana-powder
2 tbs. 2 Poppy Seeds (Khaskhash)
3 3 Onions (medium sized)-chopped
8 8 Red Chilies-whole dried
2 tbs. 2 Peanuts
1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala-powder
1 cup 1 Yogurt
3 tbsp. 3 Vegetable Oil
1 tsp. 1 Ginger (Adrak)-paste
1/2 tsp. 1/2 Salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp. 1 Cumin Seeds (Zeera)
Directions
- Grind all the dry ingredients and mix with the yogurt.
- Apply this mixture to the meat and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the onion till brown.
- Add meat and leave to cook on low heat till tender. Add a little water, if necessary.
- Serve with chapati
