Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg. 1/2 Beef-filet

  • 1 tbs. 1 Roasted Chana-powder

  • 2 tbs. 2 Poppy Seeds (Khaskhash)

  • 3 3 Onions (medium sized)-chopped

  • 8 8 Red Chilies-whole dried

  • 2 tbs. 2 Peanuts

  • 1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala-powder

  • 1 cup 1 Yogurt

  • 3 tbsp. 3 Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp. 1 Ginger (Adrak)-paste

  • 1/2 tsp. 1/2 Salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp. 1 Cumin Seeds (Zeera)

Directions

  • Grind all the dry ingredients and mix with the yogurt.
  • Apply this mixture to the meat and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the onion till brown.
  • Add meat and leave to cook on low heat till tender. Add a little water, if necessary.
  • Serve with chapati
