Ingredients

  • 1 kg. Mutton

  • 2 tsp. Salt (adjust to taste)

  • 0.25 tsp. Turmeric (Haldi)-powder

  • 1 tsp Chili (Lal Mirch)-powder

  • 1 tbsp. Coriander (Dhaniya)-powder

  • 1 Onion (medium)-chopped

  • 3 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

  • 1 tsp. Ginger (Adrak)-paste

  • 0.5 tsp. Garlic (Lehsan)-paste

  • 1 cup Tomato-chopped

  • 6 Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)-whole

  • 3 Cloves (Laung)

  • 2 Black Cardamom (Bari Ilaichi)

  • 0.25 tsp. Cumin Seeds (Zeera)

  • 0.25 cup Fresh Dhaniya leaves-choppoed

  • 2 Green Chilies-finely chopped

Directions

  • Fry the onion in the oil till brown.
  • Mix all the ingredients together and add to the pot and stir till the tomato has become soft and the water has dried.
  • Add the meat and cook to let the water dry again.
  • Add 3 cups of water, cover and leave on medium heat to tenderize.
  • Garnish with fresh Dhaniya leaves and chopped green chilies.
