kcalIt is multipurpose masala that will add to the taste of various dishes. Besides Dahi Baray, Aaloo chaat, fruit chaat, Chholay, pakorday etc, it can be sprincled over fried chicken, fried fish, haleem etc. to enhance their taste.
Ingredients
1.5 cup 1.5 Cumin Seeds(Zeera)-roasted, finely ground
1.25 cup 1.25 Red Chilies-roasted, finely ground
3/4 cup 3/4 Coriander Seeds(Dhaniya), roasted, finely ground
1/2 cup 1/2 Salt
1/4 cup 1/4 Black Salt (Kala Namak)-powder
1.5 tsp. 1.5 Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)-ground
1/2 tsp. 1/2 Cloves (Laung)-ground
1/4 tsp. 1/4 Black Cardamom Seeds (Bari Ilaichi)-ground
1/2 tsp. 1/2 Carom Seeds (Ajwain)-ground
1/4 tsp. 1/4 Asafetida (Heeng)-ground
2 tsp. 2 Tartaric Acid-powder
3/4 cup 3/4 Aamchur(Dry Mango) Powder
Directions
- Roast slightly the spices (cumin seeds, red chilies and coriander seeds) individually.
- Once cool, grind them into fine powder.
- Grind black pepper, cloves, black cardamom and carom seeds.
- Combine all ingredients in the given ration and mix well.
