1/2 kg. 1/2 Chicken
1/2 cup 1/2 Onion-paste
4 tbsp. 4 Yogurt
1 tsp. 1 Coriander (Dhaniya)-powder
1 tsp. 1 Salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 tsp. 1/4 Turmeric (Haldi)-powder
1 tsp. 1 Chili (Lal Mirch)-powder
1 tsp. 1 Garlic (Lehsan)-paste
1 tsp. 1 Ginger (Adrak)-paste
1/2 cup 1/2 Vegetable-Oil
1/2 cup 1/2 Tomato-ground
2 2 Green Chilies-chopped
1 1 Black Cardamom (Bari Ilaichi)-seeds,
2 2 Green Cardamom (Chhoti Ilaichi)-seeds,
1 small 1 Stick Cinnamon (Dalchini)
10 10 Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)
8 8 Cloves (Laung)
1/4 tsp. 1/4 Cumin seeds (Zeera)
- For Garnish
1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala. OR
2 tbs. 2 Fresh Coriander (Dhaniya)-leaves
2 2 Green Chilies-chopped
Directions
- Fry onion paste in oil till light brown.
- Add ginger (Adrak), garlic (Lehsan) paste, yogurt, coriander(Dhaniya) seeds powder, chili powder, turmeric (Haldi) powder, tomato, and salt.
- Mix, fry briefly and then add the chicken.
- Mix it and cook for 10-15 minutes till the chicken becomes tender and the desired consistency of curry is achieved. (add water only to have the required consistency)
- Garnish with green chilies, green coriander (Dhaniya) leaves and garam masala.
- Serve with naan or boiled rice.
