Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg. 1/2 Chicken

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Onion-paste

  • 4 tbsp. 4 Yogurt

  • 1 tsp. 1 Coriander (Dhaniya)-powder

  • 1 tsp. 1 Salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 Turmeric (Haldi)-powder

  • 1 tsp. 1 Chili (Lal Mirch)-powder

  • 1 tsp. 1 Garlic (Lehsan)-paste

  • 1 tsp. 1 Ginger (Adrak)-paste

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Vegetable-Oil

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 Tomato-ground

  • 2 2 Green Chilies-chopped

  • 1 1 Black Cardamom (Bari Ilaichi)-seeds,

  • 2 2 Green Cardamom (Chhoti Ilaichi)-seeds,

  • 1 small 1 Stick Cinnamon (Dalchini)

  • 10 10 Black Pepper (Kali Mirch)

  • 8 8 Cloves (Laung)

  • 1/4 tsp. 1/4 Cumin seeds (Zeera)

  • For Garnish
  • 1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala. OR

  • 2 tbs. 2 Fresh Coriander (Dhaniya)-leaves

  • 2 2 Green Chilies-chopped

Directions

  • Fry onion paste in oil till light brown.
  • Add ginger (Adrak), garlic (Lehsan) paste, yogurt, coriander(Dhaniya) seeds powder, chili powder, turmeric (Haldi) powder, tomato, and salt.
  • Mix, fry briefly and then add the chicken.
  • Mix it and cook for 10-15 minutes till the chicken becomes tender and the desired consistency of curry is achieved. (add water only to have the required consistency)
  • Garnish with green chilies, green coriander (Dhaniya) leaves and garam masala.
  • Serve with naan or boiled rice.
