1/2 kg. 1/2 Mutton (or Beef)
6 6 Onions
3 3 Red Chillies (lal Mirch) -whole dried
2 tsp. 2 Garlic (Lehsan)-paste
2 tsp. 2 Ginger (Adrak)-paste
1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala-powder
3 tbsp. 3 Yogurt
3 tbsp. 3 Oil
1/2 tsp. 1/2 Salt (adjust to taste)
Directions
- Slices 1 onion and saute in oil till light brown.
- Add Garlic (Lehsan), Ginger (Adrak), Salt and Meat and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, till the water dries.
- Add Red Chilies, rest of the Onion (chopped) and about 3 cups of water.
- Cover and leave on low heat to soften.
- When the meat is tender and the water dries (dry water on high heat if required),
- Add yogurt (well whipped) and cook till the oil is seen to be separating out.
- Add the Garam Masala, mix and remove from heat.
- Serve with naan
