Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg. 1/2 Mutton (or Beef)

  • 6 6 Onions

  • 3 3 Red Chillies (lal Mirch) -whole dried

  • 2 tsp. 2 Garlic (Lehsan)-paste

  • 2 tsp. 2 Ginger (Adrak)-paste

  • 1 tsp. 1 Garam Masala-powder

  • 3 tbsp. 3 Yogurt

  • 3 tbsp. 3 Oil

  • 1/2 tsp. 1/2 Salt (adjust to taste)

Directions

  • Slices 1 onion and saute in oil till light brown.
  • Add Garlic (Lehsan), Ginger (Adrak), Salt and Meat and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, till the water dries.
  • Add Red Chilies, rest of the Onion (chopped) and about 3 cups of water.
  • Cover and leave on low heat to soften.
  • When the meat is tender and the water dries (dry water on high heat if required),
  • Add yogurt (well whipped) and cook till the oil is seen to be separating out.
  • Add the Garam Masala, mix and remove from heat.
  • Serve with naan
