2 cup 2 Milk
4 4 Green Cardamom (Chhoti Ilaichi)-seeds
8 8 Pistachio (Pistay)-chopped
1 tbsp. 1 Coconut (Narial)-chopped
1 tbsp. 1 Almond (Badam)-sliced
1 tbsp. 1 Raisins (Kishmish)
1 1 Dry Dates(Chhuwaray)-chopped
1 handful 1 Vermicelli (Sewayyan)
1 tsp. 1 Kewra essence
2.5 tbsp. 2.5 Condensed Milk (sweetened) OR
4 tbsp. 4 Sugar
Directions
- Wash the dry fruit and soak in a little milk for 3-4 hours.
- In a pot add milk, condensed milk or sugar and ilaichi seeds and simmer on low heat until it starts to thicken.
- Add the vermicelli and keep cooking till it softens.
- Add the presoaked dry fruit and cook for 5 minutes and just before removing from heat add the kewra essence.
- Can be served hot or chilled.
